LI: Sal de Vida Drilling Improves Average Lithium Grade

STEVEN GOLD, Clarus Securities Inc. (01/06/2011)
"This morning, Lithium One reported results from three additional core holes at its Sal de Vida lithium project at Salar del Hombre Muerto, Argentina. The overall average from all brine samples to date consisting of 8 core holes is 745 mg/l Li and a magnesium to lithium ratio (Mg:Li) of 2.4. This compares to the previously announced drill results on the first 5 core holes on November 10, 2010, which reported an average of 680 mg/l Li and a Mg:Li of 2.2. Hole 12 returned a higher than normal value, averaging 1,014 mg/l Li, which is favorable given its central location on the property. Drilling to date outlines a potential resource area of over 150 km2 with a significant amount of the salar still to be drilled. The increase in the overall grade continues to suggest strong economics. The Mg:Li ratio remains below 3.0, which is considered to be extremely favorable as high magnesium levels imply higher processing costs that could impact the overall feasibility of the project. We expect an NI 43-101-compliant resource to be announced in Q111, which will be positive catalyst for the story given the recent indicators from recent drill results. We reiterate our SPECULATIVE BUY recommendation and $3./share target price."
