"XRC has responded sensibly to the global financial upheaval by initiating a program of cash conservation - exploration budget reduced by two thirds to C$8m, with grassroots projects on hold. Cash at Sep ‘08 was C$23m and by limiting expenditure XRC aims to have >C$10m in a year’s time. Exeter has three strong, major projects that could provide multi-million ounce gold-silver resources. Advances at Cerro Moro mid term are anticipated to drive a recovery in XRC’s valuation as exploration and project milestones are achieved for a potential low cost project with high operating margin – initial Cerro Morro and Caspiche resources expected 2Q09. Access to grassroots projects, via agreements with CVSA and Rio, will provide long-term growth opportunities." |
