"Alderon is developing the Kami iron-ore deposit in Western Labrador, Canada. It's located just six miles east and just across the border from Consolidated Thompson's Bloom Lake deposit in Quebec. Alderon has a very similar project. . .[with] up to a quarter of a billion tons of iron ore with grades ranging from 28%–35%. The summer drill program is attempting to delineate a resource double that size with ultimate potential to approach 900 million tons. . .Management is also a key selling point. Most of the team that put Bloom Lake together. . .has moved over to Alderon, and the project is being optioned from Altius Minerals. Upon completion of $5 million of work and issuing 31.8 million shares, Alderon will own 100% of the project and the company will have a total of 73 million shares outstanding, giving it a market cap of about $100 million. Compare this to Consolidated Thompson, which is three–four years ahead, and has a market cap approaching $2 billion—and the upside is obvious."

"On June 2, 2010, Alderon commenced a 20,000m drill program at its Kami iron ore project in the Labrador City area. The $5M drill program is aiming to delineate 400–500 million tons of iron ore over the next five months. Kami is located in very close proximity to Consolidated Thompson's Bloom Lake Mine, Wabush's Scully Mine and IOC's Carol Lake Mine.

The Kami Property currently contains three zones of iron ore: Rose Lake, Mart Lake and Mills Lake. Based on drilling to date, the Rose and Mills zones may contain approximately 200M–250M tons grading 28%–35% Fe. These grades are analogous to those at Consolidated Thompson's Bloom Lake Deposit. The project is ideally situated with excellent access to manpower, services, roads, rail and power."

The Gold Report Interview with Peter Grandich (06/30/10)
"Sometimes you'll find opportunities in the junior market by following people who've been successful and watching them when they set up shop again in something similar. In this particular case, Alderon is an iron ore play with many from the management team that was behind Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines, which was a tremendous winner in Canada. Alderon Resource is currently drilling an iron ore project in Newfoundland and Labrador. When you see management people like that who have been very successful in one deal setting up shop down the road a pace, you really should be alert to that and take interest in it."

"Under a recently signed option agreement, Alderon is earning a 100% interest in the Kamistiatusset (Kami) Iron Ore Project from Altius Minerals. . .Conveniently located near roads and hydroelectric power, the project is also close to a railway that leads south to a deepwater port on the St. Lawrence River. . .The company is gearing up for a $7 million exploration program that will include 20,000 meters of drilling, ground geo¬physical surveys, metallurgical test work and infrastructure upgrades. The company's goal is to establish an economic iron ore deposit of over 500 million tons within 12 to 18 months. . .The objective appears to be attainable as the area already hosts huge iron ore deposits and producing mines. . .Alderon has a strong management team that includes Executive Chairman Stan Bharti, who raised over $2 billion over the past five years and has held several posi¬tions with Consolidated Thompson. Director Bruce Humphrey has over 30 years experience with major compa-nies and recently served as Chairman of Consolidated Thompson."

   Peter Grandich, Grandich Letter (05/26/10)
"Alderon appears to have a project in the right location with the right management team at the right time. The team consists of the right technical people to take this project to production. . .[and has] the proven track record in closing the required deals with the government, native groups, off-take customers and the like, as they’ve done it all before.

The Kami Iron Ore Project appears to be well situated. . .within the Labrador Trough, which produces 99.8% of Canada’s iron ore. CLM just finished building 30 kilometers of railway to connect their Bloom Lake Mine to the existing railway at Wabush. . . a key role in keeping down the costs of getting Kami into production.

Chief Geologist Edward Lyons, with over 35 years of experience. . .knows the area like the back of his hand and understands the intricacies of the Labrador Trough.

I anticipate the value for the resource to be baked into the stock price long before the 43-101 resource is released. Add the high-quality potential of the deposit with the proven track record of the management, and I believe Alderon has all the makings of an extraordinary company."
