Canada is on track to see a record 1,338 megawatts (MW) of new wind capacity enter service in 2011, more than double the 690 MW installed in 2010, the Canadian Wind Energy Association said Monday.
The group said Ontario also is expected to set a record for wind installations this year, with more than 500 MW of new capacity scheduled to come online. It added that new wind farms are being commissioned this year in seven other provinces, including British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. . .View Full Article
