Canadian Acquisition Expands Uranium Portfolio Alongside Major Projects

Uranium One Mining Corp. (UUU:CSE; UUUFF:OTCID; SL5:FSE) announced that it completed the acquisition of 1583644 B.C. Ltd., securing the Pasfield Lake uranium property in Saskatchewan and the Foghorn mineral property in British Columbia. The transaction, originally announced in June, involved the issuance of 27,060,000 common shares at a deemed price of CA$0.20 per share. The transaction also included CA$250,000 in assignment fees previously paid by Uranium One on behalf of NumberCo in connection with the Foghorn acquisition.

The acquisition added to the company's Canadian exploration portfolio, which spans uranium, gold-copper, lithium, and critical minerals properties across Canada, Paraguay, and Argentina. Its July 2026 investor presentation outlined more than 146,000 hectares of holdings, including its existing uranium interests in Paraguay, where its Yuty Prometeo project borders property held by Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC:NYSEAMERICAN).

On November 2, Uranium One announced that its inaugural exploration program was underway at the approximately 90,000-hectare Yuty Prometeo–San Jose uranium project in Paraguay's Paraná Basin. The company also reported receiving its prospection permit from Paraguay's Vice Ministry of Mining and Energy, allowing it to advance exploration activities across the project area. The initial program focused on verifying historical exploration information, investigating previously identified uranium anomalies, and evaluating prospective areas to support future drill targeting.

The program included geological reconnaissance, field radiometric measurements, inspections of historical drill hole locations, and the collection of up to 100 representative rock or soil samples. Uranium One also plans to assess access routes, examine exposed geological formations, and document field observations using photographs and GPS coordinates. The work represented the company's first exploration program following receipt of the permit.

"Receiving the Prospection Permit represents a significant milestone for Uranium One, paving the way for our inaugural exploration program, which is now underway across our approximately 90,000-hectare Yuty Prometeo–San Jose Uranium Project in Paraguay," said Chief Executive Officer David Greenway. He added that the company's immediate priorities included verifying historical results, conducting radiometric measurements, and advancing prospective areas toward future drill targeting.

Uranium One's Yuty Prometeo Uno concession covers approximately 27,666 hectares in the Paraná Basin, directly adjoining Uranium Energy's Yuty project. The neighboring project hosts an indicated uranium resource of approximately 8.96 million pounds of U3O8, according to the resource estimate cited in Uranium One's disclosures. Although Uranium One has not established a mineral resource on its own property, historical exploration provided a starting point for further technical evaluation. Mineralization on adjacent properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on Uranium One's concessions.

According to the company's November 2 release, historical records referenced 27 drill holes on the Prometeo property, averaging approximately 165 meters (541 ft) in depth. Spectral gamma downhole logging indicated uranium in seven holes. Six returned anomalous uranium values ranging from 0.01% to 0.02% U3O8, while the seventh reportedly encountered mineralized rock ranging from 0.05% to 0.10% U3O8 across 107 meters (351 ft). Historical information also suggested that the Prometeo block lay along the geological trend associated with Uranium Energy's neighboring Transandes property. Uranium One cautioned that it had not independently verified the historical results in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 and plans confirmatory drilling to assess the information.

Uranium One's additional Paraguayan holdings include the Yuty Prometeo San Jose concessions, covering approximately 62,210 hectares across three mineral concessions. Located approximately 100 kilometers northwest of Uranium Energy's Yuty project, the properties contain historical radiometric anomalies identified during surveys covering an area approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) long and 10 kilometers (6 miles) wide. Physical rock sampling and assays had not been completed to confirm those preliminary readings. Combined, Uranium One's two Paraguayan project areas encompass approximately 89,876 hectares.

The November 2 announcement also followed developments in U.S.–Paraguay nuclear cooperation. On October 21, the U.S. Department of State announced the beginning of negotiations toward an agreement concerning peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The department also reported a US$12 million investment announcement involving uranium development in Paraguay. Uranium One noted that the investment related to another company's concession and did not involve its own Yuty Prometeo–San Jose project.

In Canada, the approximately 4,400-hectare Pasfield Lake property is situated in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, roughly 60 kilometers (37 miles) northwest of Cameco Corp.'s (CCO:TSX; CCJ:NYSE) Cigar Lake uranium mine. Historical exploration included diamond drilling, airborne geophysical surveys, gravity surveys, geochemical sampling, and geological interpretation.

The company's July presentation identified several geological features associated with uranium exploration targets, including graphitic conductors, magnetic lows, regional fault systems, and hydrothermal alteration. Historical drilling recorded elevated radioactivity of up to 600 counts per second across a 40-meter interval above the unconformity. The presentation also identified 18 consecutive anomalous uranium samples containing concentrations of up to 3.7 parts per million uranium, along with chlorite alteration within a basement fault zone and anomalous uranium pathfinder geochemistry.

Uranium One said these findings supported its interpretation that hydrothermal fluids had moved through the geological system. However, the historical drilling results have not been independently verified, and the findings do not establish an economically recoverable uranium deposit.

The newly acquired Foghorn property adds approximately 614 hectares across 40 Crown-granted mineral claims in British Columbia. Historical exploration included approximately 17,280 meters (56,693 ft) of diamond drilling across 368 holes, according to the July presentation. The work identified uranium occurrences, fluorite mineralization, and underground workings, providing a historical dataset for further geological evaluation.

Uranium One's broader Canadian uranium portfolio also includes the Quark and Nucleon projects in Saskatchewan. Quark encompasses approximately 28,746 hectares in the Athabasca Basin, near the historical Cluff Lake uranium district and properties associated with Orano Canada and Fission Uranium. Nucleon comprises seven mineral claims totaling approximately 23,425 hectares, with four exploration areas situated along uranium discovery corridors. Nearby projects are associated with NexGen Energy Ltd. (NXE:TSX; NXE:NYSE), Denison Mines Corp. (DML:TSX; DNN:NYSEAMERICAN), Fission Uranium Corp. (FCU:TSX; FCUUF:OTCQX; 2FU:FSE), and Cameco.

The company's expansion followed several financing and portfolio transactions earlier this year. In May, Uranium One completed a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of approximately CA$3 million. In June, it announced the completed sale of its Redonda copper property in British Columbia to Copper One Resources Corp. (CEXY:CSE; CEXYF:OTCID; IW8:FSE) for CA$1.1 million in cash. The company also completed its acquisition of Quark Uranium Ltd. in April, following its transition from Vanguard Mining Corp. to Uranium One Mining Corp.

Uranium Supply Challenges Meet Growing Nuclear Energy Demand

The global uranium market faced changing supply dynamics as nuclear power expansion and energy security priorities influenced fuel procurement. In an October 8 analysis published by Investing.com, Anthony Milewski examined the growing separation between Eastern and Western nuclear fuel supply networks, noting that the division extended beyond mining into ownership, contracts, transportation, and processing infrastructure. He wrote that "the East-West split is being driven by governments and utilities reorganizing who finances supply, who controls its sale, and which facilities can turn it into usable reactor fuel." The analysis identified a potential uranium supply shortfall of 46,000 tonnes by 2040 and reported that new uranium mines could require 15 to 20 years to progress from discovery to production.

The analysis also highlighted the scale of nuclear power expansion and the importance of securing uranium supplies ahead of reactor construction. Global nuclear generating capacity was projected to reach between 641 and 1,045 gigawatts by 2050, compared with 377.1 gigawatts in 2025. Milewski reported that competition for uranium had increasingly involved long-term purchasing agreements and development financing, as utilities and governments sought greater certainty over future fuel availability. These developments reflected the importance of both uranium production and the infrastructure required to process nuclear fuel.

A separate October 27 industry report, Uranium and the AI Power Boom, examined the relationship between artificial intelligence, electricity consumption, and uranium supply. According to the report, which was distributed through StockTitan, the International Energy Agency projected that data center electricity consumption could reach 950 terawatt-hours annually by 2030. The report also cited industry scenarios estimating cumulative uranium supply deficits of approximately 700 million to 1.7 billion pounds of U3O8 through 2040, depending on demand assumptions. It highlighted approximately 186.3 million pounds of unfilled U.S. nuclear utility uranium requirements for 2026 through 2035, based on Energy Information Administration data. These estimates represented projections and contracting requirements rather than confirmed future shortages.

The October 27 report also examined uranium pricing and the concentration of global production. It cited an industry-average uranium spot price of US$89.63 per pound at the end of September, compared with US$24.63 per pound in January 2020. The long-term uranium price indicator stood at US$96.50 per pound, compared with US$35.00 at the end of 2020. Kazakhstan accounted for approximately 40% of global uranium mine production in 2025, according to figures referenced from the World Nuclear Association. The report characterized a central challenge as a "timing imbalance between the rapid development of AI infrastructure and the longer development timelines associated with new uranium mines."

The connection between technology infrastructure and nuclear fuel demand received further attention in an October 28 report from Benchmark Mineral Intelligence. The publication examined new nuclear power agreements involving major technology companies and their implications for uranium consumption. According to Benchmark, "Big Tech's nuclear ambitions are starting to impact uranium demand." The report noted that demand volumes associated with these arrangements remained relatively small but had been growing in a market where mined uranium supply already fell short. It described an October 6 agreement involving more than US$4.3 billion in upgrades across 11 existing nuclear generating units, adding 890 megawatts of capacity, alongside a separate 15-year agreement covering 2,700 megawatts of electricity.

Benchmark also reported that an October 19 agreement involved studying a proposed 960-megawatt nuclear facility incorporating 12 advanced reactors at a former coal-fired power generation site in Indiana. The project remained at the study stage ahead of any final investment decision. Together, the agreements illustrated how electricity requirements associated with large-scale computing infrastructure had become part of broader discussions about nuclear generating capacity and uranium demand.

Exploration Programs and Drilling Preparation Across Two Continents

With the Pasfield Lake and Foghorn acquisitions completed and exploration underway in Paraguay, Uranium One has advanced two parts of its uranium exploration strategy by early November. The company's July investor presentation identified Pasfield Lake as its flagship Canadian uranium project and outlined a staged approach toward an initial modern diamond drilling program. The November 2 announcement established that the company had also moved from exploration planning to field activities at its Yuty Prometeo–San Jose project.

In Paraguay, Uranium One's inaugural exploration program followed receipt of the prospection permit from the Vice Ministry of Mining and Energy. The company outlined plans to conduct geological reconnaissance across priority exploration blocks, evaluate access routes and field logistics, and locate historical drill holes attributed to Anschutz Co. Field personnel were also expected to document the condition and geological surroundings of accessible drill sites using photographs and GPS coordinates.

The program included radiometric measurements using a portable scintillometer, an instrument that measures gamma radiation emitted by rocks and other materials. Uranium One plans to examine areas associated with historical uranium geochemical anomalies, inspect accessible quarries and natural outcrops, and collect up to 100 representative rock or soil samples. The resulting observations and analytical information were intended to support geological interpretation and the identification of priority targets for future drilling.

The November 2 release also identified verification of historical uranium results as a central objective. At Yuty Prometeo Uno, the company planned to evaluate previously reported mineralization and historical drill hole locations, while exploration across the broader San Jose concessions would investigate radiometric anomalies identified in earlier surveys. Uranium One stated that confirmatory drilling was planned to verify historical information, although the announcement did not establish a specific drilling start date or program size.

At Pasfield Lake, the proposed exploration strategy involved integrating historical drilling records, geophysical surveys, geochemical information, and structural datasets through AI-assisted target generation. Uranium One also plans to develop a three-dimensional geological model to rank targets, refine geological interpretations, and identify potential drilling locations. Additional ground geophysical work was contemplated to investigate conductive targets and validate structural interpretations before drilling.

The objective is to identify priority targets for an inaugural modern diamond drilling program at Pasfield Lake. However, the July presentation did not establish a confirmed drilling start date, program budget, or number of planned holes. Updated exploration announcements would therefore be important in determining the timing and scope of the proposed work.

In Saskatchewan, Uranium One reported in July that Phase 1 geochemical surveys were underway at its Nucleon project. The surveys were intended to identify geological and geochemical characteristics that could help define potential drilling targets across four exploration areas. Completed survey results and subsequent target identification represented additional developments to monitor.

At Foghorn, Uranium One outlined plans to reassess historical exploration information using modern geological techniques. The proposed work included verifying historical uranium occurrences, evaluating fluorite mineralization, and examining the potential for associated rare earth elements. The company also intended to incorporate historical drilling information into an updated geological model to identify areas for further exploration.

Beyond uranium, Uranium One's portfolio includes the Brussels Creek gold-copper property in British Columbia and the Pocitos 1 lithium brine project in Argentina. Brussels Creek covers approximately 13.5 square kilometers west of Kamloops and is supported by an NI 43-101 technical report with an effective date of March 30, 2026. The company identified further geological interpretation, fieldwork, and drill-target prioritization as potential next steps, with future drilling subject to permitting, financing, and exploration priorities.

At Pocitos 1, Uranium One reported that more than US$2 million had previously been spent on exploration, with three wells intersecting lithium-bearing brines. These properties provided additional exposure to minerals beyond uranium, although the company's July presentation emphasized Pasfield Lake, Foghorn, and the Paraguayan uranium concessions as its principal near-term exploration priorities.

The company's ability to advance these programs will depend partly on available financing and exploration priorities. The approximately CA$3 million private placement completed in May and CA$1.1 million received from the Redonda property sale provided funding earlier in the year. The October acquisition also expanded Uranium One's issued share capital through the issuance of 27.06 million additional common shares.

Uranium One's November 2 announcement marked the commencement of its inaugural field exploration program in Paraguay following receipt of the required prospection permit. The work was designed to verify historical uranium information, assess geological and radiometric anomalies, and identify potential future drilling targets. Although the company has advanced from planning to active field exploration at Yuty Prometeo–San Jose, its uranium properties remain at the exploration stage, with no mineral resources established on its own concessions.

Ownership and Share Structure1

As of November 3, 2026, Uranium One's ownership breakdown following its October acquisition remains unconfirmed. If previously reported holders received none of the 27.06 million shares issued in the transaction and otherwise kept their holdings unchanged, management and insiders would hold approximately 2.98% of the enlarged share count, while institutions would hold approximately 1.73%. On the same basis, David Greenway would hold approximately 2.09% and Palos Wealth Management Inc. approximately 1.73%.

As of November 3, 2026, Uranium One Mining Corp. had approximately 67.31 million common shares outstanding, based on the 40.25 million shares reported as of September 30, 2026, and the 27.06 million shares issued for the October acquisition of the Pasfield Lake and Foghorn properties. Based on the October 30 closing price of CA$0.17 per share, the last trading close before October 31, that share count implies a market capitalization of approximately CA$11.44  million.

No verified insider open-market buys or sells were identified in the previously reviewed six-month period.

Previously reported public records identified six series of outstanding warrants and three historical share restructures. These figures should be checked against the company's latest filings.
