The information below is based on the most recent information we have received from analysts and the companies participating in The Gold Report. We encourage you to visit the company's web site for updates.
"An evolving share price, too. Shares of Evolving Gold jumped Friday after the company announced gold assay results from its Carlin, Nevada project. The highest grades encountered were 31.0 grams per ton over 4.6 meters, including 57.9 grams per ton over 1.5 meters and 44.6 grams per ton over 3.0 meters."

"Evolving Gold drilled a large number of good holes at its Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming. The company will report an initial gold resource this spring and will be back as soon as weather allows with a big follow-up drill program and all the zones remain open. EVG also just reported a high-grade discovery hole from its Carlin project in Nevada. Follow-up drilling is required but it looks like the company may have another important discovery on its hands."

"Evolving Gold got slammed by a recent share issue and knocked down to a clear and strong support level at about 90 cents at the lows of last October into November. Although still somewhat overhung by this development, it looks like a buy here with a close closing stop beneath the support, say at about 87 cents."

"Rattlesnake Hills is a very large mineral system—the kind that can produce a multi-million ounce ore body. So far I don't see it, but we are watching this closely.

I have a lot of faith in President Quinton Hennigh and believe that long term he can deliver. It is also worth remembering that Evolving Gold is actively drill testing a strong Carlin type gold system within the Carlin Trend itself. This is elephant country! Previous drill results showed gold mineralization in the 1 gram per tonne gold range over 20 to 30 meters. It was associated with intense alteration and trace element geochemistry characteristic of Carlin deposits. The targets are quite deep, hence any mineralization encountered will have to demonstrate the potential for a high-grade underground mineable deposit. We are waiting on results from the second phase of drilling at Carlin, which was completed in the fall."

    -   Exploration Insights (02/15/10)

"Evolving Gold is a gold explorer focused on the Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming. It's still relatively early but they've produced intercepts that indicate the rocks were subjected to a large gold-mineralizing event similar to the Cripple Creek mine in Colorado. Quinton Hennigh, EVG's president and chief geologist, previously worked at Newmont and is a great geologist.

Evolving Gold has a healthy cash position and provides great gold price and exploration leverage."
